Voting Question: Any art students/teachers?
Long story short, I'm applying for a foundation course in Art and Design. they want to see my work, (e.g a sketchbook from art lessons). I didn't take art. I have been given a project to do and told to 'give it my all' so they can use that as thought it were work from school... Now I am confident in my ability but I have never taken art past Year 9, so I don't know the general procedure that a project sketchbook should take. If anyone has their art sketchbooks would they be able to flick through them and tell me what they ahve done on each page? Doesn't have to me thorough, just a short description. I'm not quite sure where to go with my project so I thought seeing what others do might help. What is the general procedure for the sketchbooks? Is it just a big mess of ideas? I can do my brainstorms and artist research and stuff but where do I go from there? Can I just launch straight into ideas, materials etc when I have an idea what to do or is there more researching and planning needed? moreResolved Question: Hundertwasser - the Austrian painter, architect, ecologist. Love to hear some of your ideas for a fun and informative series of art lessons on the drip painting style of the enigmatic Jackson Pollock, who after you've seen the excellent biopic of him by Ed Harris, you'll really get in to. Have a great day. You look fabulous, by the way. moreWelcome to Art Teacher Lesson Plans News
